A Sheet of Ply and Old Parts - How many can you name?

Post by A Whiteman » Wed Apr 15, 2020 7:56 pm

A sheet of ply, old parts and 'enforced isolation' and the result is:

Now, how many parts can you name and date and give part numbers for and factory numbers? Some really easy and some, to be fair, unless you see the detail will be hard. As a hint, only the coils are the same, and 2 others are variants of the "same" part.

(These are mainly if not all Canadian parts, but I am thinking they are pretty much the same ages/numbers as US).

I numbered them in the bottom picture to this post.

Something to keep you busy

Cheers
Adrian

Adrian, I've seen some vandalised parts in my time but you take the cake. Whatever made you cut up that 1915 hood side panel just to fit it around your lettered header?

Allan from down under.

LOL! Yep, those bits have seen a bit of life I guess :)

These are just as Chris and I acquired them, but I could not bring myself to throw them out.

Clues for the researchers:
Number 4 is a 1911 Ford front mudguard inner ;-)

Numbers 22 and 29 are the oldest parts I am aware of on the board...
