Tbay problem

Post by Jim Eubanks » Fri Apr 17, 2020 5:26 pm

Anyone else have a problem with tbay today going from one page to the next page of Model T items. I get to the bottom of the page, 50 items and there are no pages to go to next.

I just checked mine and yes. In the box to the right of the search box, what does it say. Mine defaulted to all categories but when I changed to Ebay Motors, showed more pages. There have been glitches going on with the system. No one is home at eBay central, everyone is working re-motley, the bots have gone mad. :lol:

Try this and if it works replace and bookmark yours. I have it set for 200 per page, if you want a lower count correct that before saving;

eBay has lots of problems in listing items of a search. Sometimes you may see the same item more than once when scrolling through several pages. And yes I have had the same issue in the past, where more pages show to list but then there were none (as you described). eBay as many add-ons to your search like "sponsored items". These will pop of if they match the search text but not necessarily specifics (like you see Canada items when you have selected USA Only). Not sure but I think the problem you described happens when you select a sort like Price low to high.
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

I found a work around. Just change the number of items on the page once and switch back to your original setting.

On my search there are 4900+ results listed, and only 100 on one page show. There is no button at the bottom to change the number of listings showing per page. There is nothing showing any additional pages to go to. I have not been able to find any "work around".

Ok try this;

You will still get a few rat rod and other items, but over all seems to work. I have been having the same issue. Up until maybe Saturday my saved one worked fine.

Another example of Ebay breaking something that didn't need to be fixed. I am having the same problems with EBAY motors related searches. This is one work around from the EBAY discussion board.

It appears that you may have to apply the "fix" for every new search.

I don't think they broke it I think it broke. Might be higher then normal usage with everyone home overloaded something.

I don't think so. The problem appears to be strictly associated with EBAY motors searches. Regular EBAY searches are working like they always have been. The 'work around' search appears to be working well too.
