Bolt size question

What size bolt is used to hold the hogshead onto the engine pan? I think it's a 3/8-24 but not sure how long they are supposed to be - thanks!
Bill, that is the size. There are three which go up onto threaded holes where the starter mount. These are shorter and are not drilled for a split pin.
