Here’s a shot of my blasphemous dash with its modern gauges (they do work good tho). I made the dash control panel to look like the ‘ol Delco units of the day, and the starter push button to match. All accept modern switches from the back side. Original Dixie mag switch serves as the main switch for he whole system

Still planning and parts gathering. The dash is a 1926 Dodge, I liked the layout of the dash but more important is the top curve which I'm after for the body. Intending to add a SW water temp gauge in the open hole. Just got the switch and had to find a spacer (copper will nickle plate it later) to fill the gap. Will be using a REO face-plate when done.

I appreciate this thread.
1 thing I do know is going on the dash of my speedster, and that is some turn signal indicator bulbs BIG ENOUGH that I can see them!
The little tiny light in my turn signal switch on the T pickup is so tiny, and I don't see them under the steering wheel. If they were on the dash and big and bright, I would not ride around like a really old man, with my blinkers on!
I want a temp gauge and a clock and of all things a DRINK holder!
Yes I want a drink holder in my T speedster. I like to have a Dew with me and there is NO where on my pickup YET to put 1.
I am thinking maby finding a real old coffee can that is rusted and using it's outer shell and something accross the bottom. Or a Kings surup can.

I think a Campbell's Tomato soup can would be just about right!

I’m guessing my dash has had a couple different layouts. I’ll be putting an overlay on when I get to it.

Frank - I think "auto-correct" played a trick on you as your post reads "gambled" when you meant "gimbled". In fact, the same think just happened to me from "auto-correct",.....changed my "gimbled" to "gambled",....in fact, it just did it again! I hate "auto-correct" as I have to remember to proofread to correct my "auto-correct" changes that I didn't want!

I corrected it and then just did a submit and it kept gimbled - didn't happen this time :?
