I fill the radiator to the top of the overflow tube start it and run at idle.
It bubbles and spurts and finally stabilizes way down in the radiator.
I can still see water and the radiator is cooling.
I use a Radio Shack IR thermometer and see a 30 to 40 degree drop top to bottom of the radiator.
The head runs about 200 degrees.
Do I have a problem?

mine runs at a level just about bisecting the word "FORD"

I once ran a national tour in very HOT Minnesotta one July and saw an elderly fellow was adding water at every stop. I suggested skipping adding for a stop or two and see if the level didn't just stabilize. It did and he was amazed. He'd owned the car for 30 years and always thought he'd had a bad radiator.

My water level is just above the Ford on the radiator.
I will stop adding coolant and see what happens.

If you get a chance, take a photo of where the priming wire comes out. I posted this question a few days ago. I think Ford may have relocated the hole in 1915 slightly.

Here are a couple of pictures.
I am not sure that it is a 15 radiator.
When I bought the car there was a discussion here and I not sure what the conclusion was.

I have a brand new radiator from Bergs. It is not brass. If you look inside the fluid level is only about a 1/2 inch above the metal plate that you can see inside. If I try to add more fluid it just boils out. My other T is about the same. They reach their own level.
