Hi : Is it possible to take out the transmission bands , when the demountable ears are on the right side .

Yes BUT you need to get them one at a time back to the rear of the brake drum to get enough room to remove the ear then pull them out from the wrong side !

I take all my bands out in this order brake, low and reverse. There is smaller overall area to work with at the rear of the hogs head. Slide them back, remove ears and rotate out to the right/passenger side (in this case). Never could grasp installing the brake band first line of thinking, better chance of getting them out of round starting at the big end.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas! :shock:

1925 Cut down pickup
1920 Dodge touring
1948 Ford F2 pickup
