Bauer Steering Wheel Lock Key

Post by J1MGOLDEN » Sun Feb 10, 2019 6:06 pm

What are the likely possibilities of ever finding a key for a Bauer Steering Wheel Lock?

I know the lock was made by Briggs and Stratton and has an E 37 Key Code showing.

That is all the information I have available.

Jim, I have a steering wheel locking device I don't recall the brand but the lock is a Russwin. I took it into our local locksmith I believe he is second or third generation at the shop. He was able to look up the numbers in some catalog NO computer and was able to modify a present day Master brand key to fit. I think it cost me like seven dollars. Jim

Found it on page 2 of the listing as the keys aren't in numerical order.....E-37 Replacement key for EAGLE and KNAPE VOGT ONLY
This key code series is intended ONLY for Eagle and KNAPE VOGT products and is a very old code. The original 4 wafer key blank is no longer available so we use the equivalent...

I had a key made for a steering wheel lock made at a local locksmith shop a couple of years ago. I did have an original key, but he didn't have a blank for it. He did some searching and found another blank that worked. This shop has been in business for years here. Just a thought. Dave
