Our Buckeye treasure

Yesterday was a good day. I’ve performed this ritual at least a half dozen times over the last 15 years. Actually , I’ve lost count. May be closer to eight engines now. A nice ride in the country to the shop of Engine Joe Bell in rural Tiffin. As always, she fired right up, ran wonderfully and operated smoothly. The T community in Ohio is very lucky to have Joe, but the drive from anywhere is well worth it. I’ll let you guess what Joe’s new hobby is.

I second that Tim. My pickup is a joy to drive with one of Joe's engines in it. I loaded the one in my TT from that very test stand. I love going to his shop.

Ditto to everyone. I tried twice to get him nominated for the Rosenthal award with no success. Don't know why. :(

And yeh Tim, the "other hobby evidence" is right there, aint it!! Maybe others just missed it? That cat is a hoot BTW.
His shop is too cool, for all the stuff he has, he can find everything, even by customer name! Amazing. I can hardly find
my way out of my own barn!

The "other Tim"

Thank You Joe for going out of your way this past week and the time you took to help me out. The parts arrived this morning and are a perfect fit.
Really appreciate all you do!
Thanks again!

Tim, re your nominations for Joe and the Rosenthal Award, you need to co-ordinate as many others to support the nomination as you can find. It should not be too hard to get a whole bunch of testimonials, given the positive support for Joe on the forum.

Allan from down under.

Allan, I did that. I did a letter writing campaing, etc. Of course, I have no idea of how many people followed through on their
promise to send letters. I guess it is what it is.

BTW Tim & Joe...with all due respect, and humor of course!...that picture sort of blinded me by "the shine"!! Actually I thought it was a picture of ME!!! Ha ha ha.
