Spotted in Amarillo

Post by RustyFords » Wed Jun 03, 2020 9:37 am

My son was driving from Houston to Colorado yesterday and spotted this nifty pair in Amarillo.

I have all my kids trained to report any/all Model A or T sightings to me without delay ;)

The A sort of has that "Shay" look to it.

When I saw the Amarillo in the title first two things that came to mind was a Model T, because of where this was posted and this;

I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas! :shock:

Gotta love George.

I first saw him at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show and Rodeo in the early 80's when he was a young man.

Never saw that comfortable man live. Lucky you Don! :)
Looks like a little bantom A compared to the Touring!

My Papaw was active in the RGV Livestock Show and ran the stage lights as a volunteer when the music acts would perform. I have an early memory of him picking me up in his arms to say hi to a very young Barbara Mandrell. Even as a little kid I recognized how pretty she was.

Papaw had passed by the time George Strait came along. If he hadn't I may have had the same chance to meet a young George.
