Model T after market headlights

I took these lights off my car to return it to original. They’re marked Gray & Davis made in Boston. The forks measure 7.5” center to center and are double bulb. I also have the high/ low beam switch. Anyone know anything about them? I’ve not found any similar.

Thanks

Jeff

What year is your car? It makes a big difference in what's "original".

It’s a ‘15, I’m pretty sure these are not OEM.

Canadian production in 15 would have had forks, so yes they could be factory.

They are not like the Canadian lights that came with my 1915 tourer. They were single globe, centrally mounted just like the later lights.

No, these are not the Canadian lights, the forks are too wide for that, plus they are clearly marked Gray & Davis and they don’t have the ford style trim rings.

I have a pair of double bulb headlights. The buckets are the same in shape as these above but were designed to attach to the fender bracket like not forks. Also no screws on the backside of the rim of the bucket. Looking at the entire setup makes me think they were made by someone for their car. Would be easy to tell more to see how the headlight rims are holding the lens in place. Also how the brackets on the bucket for the forks are attached (rivets?). Take some pictures of the the back side of the headlight ring and the inside of the bucket to see what behind the reflector

Ok then they are aftermarket made for the Ford Model T and supplied by Gray & Davis. ;)
