hi, looking for information on the 1927 Coupe gas cap. I have not seen any pics of bayonet type caps, only threaded.

Mine is missing the ears, they were broken off. I don't know if this tank is original or not. I do know I'd like to have a cap on it. Any suggestions?

Most likely an accessory "quick" open cap - the original is threaded so remove the remainder of that one & install an original style available at the vendors.
