The speed reducer

A friend posted a picture on the wifes FB site and it was a homemade speed reducer for a drill press made from a model T steering gear.I would send the picture but i do not know how.It is always hard to slow down enough for large drills! Bud. :D

That's interesting! I once saw a Hupmobile 20 with a T steering gear box fitted into its steering column, under the hood, way down near the pitman arm.

For what it's worth, I haven't figured out how to post pics here either. Probably could get it figured out, but don't have the patience... :roll:

On the old forum, there are photos of home made drills using model t steering gears for reduction units.
