The speed reducer

A friend posted a picture on the wifes FB site and it was a homemade speed reducer for a drill press made from a model T steering gear.I would send the picture but i do not know how.It is always hard to slow down enough for large drills! Bud.

That's interesting! I once saw a Hupmobile 20 with a T steering gear box fitted into its steering column, under the hood, way down near the pitman arm.
For what it's worth, I haven't figured out how to post pics here either. Probably could get it figured out, but don't have the patience...

On the old forum, there are photos of home made drills using model t steering gears for reduction units.
