Hi,
We rework a Ford TT Ruckstell rear axle. We have the "The Ruckstell Axle" book but can't find any information about the bearing play. Can someone give us some information? Thanks Stefan[image][/image]

Re: Bearing clearance on Ford TT axle
I don't believe there are any clearance guidelines or "settings". I just ran mine tight enough to eliminate excessive movement being sure everything moved freely and that's it. I may be wrong, but it's been working fine for 18 years since had it apart.
