Fastenal shipping

Post by Dennis Prince » Wed Jun 24, 2020 8:33 pm

I am working with another T guy trying to get a Muncie trans from Oregon to Virginia and he was told by the people at Fastenal that until further notice they will not be shipping anything in or out of the Northwest, I don't know why just that for now they aren't.

I had heard weeks ago, that they had suspended ALL third party shipping. Maybe now, they are just shipping from and to selected areas.

UPS or UPS freight. Wish I had realized, darn, missed that one!

Take it apart and put all the guts in a USPS flat rate box and ship only the case and shift tower by UPS. The old "crate in a box" applies here!

Recently used freightquote.com to ship a KR Wilson pan jig. Price was probably cheaper than Fastenal.
