The brass baffle in my "26 T rad had come loose and was rattling around in the tank. With the rad removed and with some difficulty I was able the cut into smaller pieces and remove the pieces through the top hose hole. Solder and I don't get along too well so removing parts of the top tank was not going to happen. My question is; can I run this otherwise perfect rad without the baffle? Thanks : Bruce

I believe the baffle is installed in the radiator to help the water circulate across all the tubes. It may not cool properly without it.
