. Taking the wheels off this old trailer to see if they’re salvageable. The axle housings have been welded on, but are the early style with the flanges. Are these rare enough to save or just throw them on the scrap pile?

I'm too far away form you to make the trip worthwhile, but I'm pretty sure someone near you will take it off your hands.

If at all possible don’t throw them away. What’s welded on can be taken off easy enough and they can be cleaned up OK. Lots of old parts have been saved and cleaned up. I try to save what can repaired and used again.
