I use the coilbox on my distributor equipped T's.

I purchased an aluminum battery box, painted it, and affixed it to the running board. It looks authentic and can hold a lot of stuff.

I also have a wooden body depot hack. Here's an idea that worked out pretty well for me:

Having retired after 34 years in law enforcement, I worked all but the last few years in plain clothes. For that reason, I still had, and used, what they used to call a "fanny pack" type of black leather holster which looked like any other "fanny pack" (always hated that term, and I guess they now call them "waist packs") but anyway, I still had a worn-out one, that was only worn-out where the nylon waist strap attached to the back. Except for the nylon strap, the thing was made out of good quality leather, and I cut out the whole front of it which still had two very nice zipper storage pouches where I used to carry wallet, keys, etc, etc. I happened to have one, but I'll bet a regular mens or womans fanny pack (black or brown) could be found at Goodwill stores and such, because they are now considered very much "out-of-style"!

Anyway, I then neatly trimmed the edges of the part I cut out and attached it to the inside top edge of the wooden depot hack door with four oval-head wood screws with finishing washers, all across the top. I think it looks really neat and the two zipper pouches are perfect for registration, proof of insurance, cell phone, copy of club roster, a few small spare bulbs and ignition parts, etc, etc. I don't know how to post pictures or I would, but I really think it was one of my "better ideas" to use something that would have otherwise been thrown away! FWIW,......harold
