Magnetos and centrifugal force

Occasionally there is a post of an individual finding an object attached to a magneto magnet when the engine is stopped. Of course, this object has been near the magneto and magnets for some time and only noticed when the engine is stopped and the covers removed to expose the magnets and magneto.
Until discovered, will this object not be attached to the magnets when the motor is in in motion?
