In my Dad's old Blue Streak parts book from the 1950's, That point set fits 27-34 Chevy, 41-42 Nash 6, 27-35 Olds, 28-32 Pontiac, and 29-33 Studebaker.

Dan, The 1929 Plymouth U distributor number is 635T. The Delco Remy part number for the points was 1855520. George

Thanks George.
Does anyone have a distributor drive off of one of these. I am wondering if the gears Plymouth used are the ones I am looking for.
From what I have seen, they used a right angle drive for this distributor.
Thanks Dan

I doubt you will find a useable dist. adapter as they were die cast "pot metal". A reproduction casting is offered on eBay w/o gears. eBay item # 163959079980. George

Not interested in the casting, wondering what the gears look like.
Can not find pictures on net that show gears good enough to tell. Anyone here have a Plymouth with that distributor know what gears look like. Thanks Dan

Now that I think about those points and see Jim's pic, the points and Delco distributor looks like the one in a 29 IH/Waukesha XA 222 also.

Thanks Stan: Please do not waste time right now looking. This is just trying to see what is still available.
Need to find the cam gears first. Dan

You might want to check with Gaslight Old Car parts, they have a bunch of the old stuff from Argentina from back in the day still on the shelves??
