Any deals out there on new tires?
Need some new 440/450-21 tires, looking at the usual vendors sites and I am not finding any deals, anyone know of tire sales and/or free shipping out there?

Looks like Universal is offering a $60.00 rebate on a set of four Firestone tires of that size:

I got a set from the source Kelsey Tire Co in Camdenton, MO through a friend that was dealer..... Flaps were free and I ordered tubes and paid hipping for a little less than Summit tires only and free shipping. Summit and many others are selling Kelsey's Tires as they are the sole distributor.

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Summit Auto Racing usually has them for around $99 apiece. Free shipping on orders over $100.

Just received 450 X 21 from Universal. $110 each, was free shipping until end of July. Tubes were $13. Quick service. Received them in 3 days. Ordered directly from Universal.

Re: Any deals out there on new tires?
When is the last time you've known that to work? I placed a tire order with them last week and couldn't find a way to get free shipping, or perhaps the shipping is free, but there is a $19.98 "additional shipping charge". Not earth shattering compared to the whole of the order, but I had long read that Summit was free and couldn't find a way to do it.RustyFords wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2020 7:44 pmSummit Auto Racing usually has them for around $99 apiece. Walter, a couple of years ago I bought from Summit through eBay and the free shipping was automatic. Not sure if it still is but worth checking.

Interesting. It never occurred to me to check eBay. Right off the bat I can't find a Summit listing, but Jegs has free shipping (not on the exact tire I ordered but same size), everything Coker lists is $24 bucks each to my address, and then there is Collector's Auto Supply (that just happens to be in Chattanooga) and they are $41 bucks.Billdizer,Spencer In wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2020 9:12 pmWalter, a couple of years ago I bought from Summit through eBay and the free shipping was automatic. Summit even acknowledges that they drop ship it from Coker, so if they truly send all four for $20 bucks that's a deal compared to Coker themselves, whose customer service I have found to be abysmal as of late when dealing with them on the phone.
