Does any one have any knowledge about a M F Model T Truck. It was found near Endicott New York. It Is In Very bad condition but Is quite unique. I haven"t found any Info about It and am hoping someone here can shed some light on It. In all my years of collecting Model T trucks this is the first one that I have seen. The tail gate hardware Is quite unique.

1926 dealers catolog has this windshield as a new feature. Also the sheetmetal appears to be 26. The beads in the side of cab resembles MP also.

I’m seeing some good telltale signs of a Martin-Parry brand body. Very late style, they were soon the be bought by the General and renamed the Chevrolet body division. I think around 1929-30
Those rear tin parts should have a Maltese cross with M-P stamped on them. I’ve seen worse stuff saved many times.

Also, those rear fenders are M-P fenders, and VERY HARD to find!

I thought you were really really pissed off at this truck, and it had an issue when I saw the headline.

Neat

Looks like a full resto would be in order and a lot of woodwork but it also appears that the impossible to find bits are there.

Thank you all for your Input. It appears to be a 1926 Martin Perry Model 224 express. As cool as this truck Is I have too many projects to start another one and would like to find a new caretaker to restore It.

Thank you
Bill

Dave Dewey is correct, those rear fenders are very special. Lots of help is out there from Martin-Parry owners, so check out the M-P website. If you followed what Dallas did, it’s very worthwhile. There was a very similar one at the old car festival a couple years ago.

To anyone interested in this beauty, don’t let the rough sheet metal frighten you. This company offered all their products ala-Carte. You could build a vehicle in just about any configuration. I can see wood doors made using the great panels with the raised portion. That how they were done just a year or so earlier. The gold is all the special mounting brackets on the frame structural parts. And the tailgate hardware, and the front metal, and the rear fenders, and the ........You get the idea
