The old girl's in good shape. Probably wearing original paint.
I'd love to have it as is.
However....it's a high cowl car. And, it has the metal trim piece under the radiator. So....not a 22....maybe late 24 or 25?

Even the Ford dealer couldn't get the year correct!

And only 24 years after the car was made.
Heck....they probably still had Model T parts in their parts department.

Keep in mind it was only about 24 years old in that 72 year old photo !

The car was gussied up with new top fabric and a later style rear window. That looks like paint on the hub caps rather than nickle. The license plate is Alabama and possibly 1946. I say that as the "Watch the Ford in '48" could likely be a 1947 slogan. '46 plates were white on black, '47 black on silver and '48 deep yellow on black. It just doesn't seen like deep yellow to me but photos are funny that way. If they were driving it around my theory is all wet. If it was just for photos and display it makes sense.
