Martynn, T 2586 plug does not appear in our Canadian produced cars. I believe it is fitted to retain the removable bearing sleeve in the earlier spools. The later spools with open bolts don't have a separate sleeve. USA production may be different.

LOL, You're right Allen, there would be no need for that since there isn't a sleeve on this assembly...I forgot to remove it.

Excellent as always, the only thing that I noticed is the Universal Joint Housing Plug. You only show one but there should be two (top and bottom) and I believe that the suffix for the part is B and not E. It shows the same way in your other drawing for the 14-21 Drive Shaft Assembly and in that case I do not think that the part number has a suffix, T-2578 flat head vs. T-2578-B dome head. Again, excellent as always and a great reference tool, thank you for the good work.

Yes there is two, one is already installed (the top one) because it wouldn't be clear with the ball mounting ring in the way. I suppose I could back the mounting ring off a bit so as to show that plug though...
