George, if you want to avoid the hassle of boxing it up yourself and you have a UPS store nearby, you can take it to them and let them pack it and box it up. I'm willing to pay the extra cost for the service if needed. - Mark Strange

do you have a photo of the whole unit? I have some brackets (NOS) that I beleive are the ones from the frame out.

Let ups box it, it is cheaper. Every time I try boxing one my self it ends up costing more in shipping charges then if they box it.

The safest way is the advice to take it to a UPS store, and tell them how to package, so it won't get damaged. The free arms should be wrapped in bubble wrap, so nothing gets to be poked out of the carton. The carton should be a heavy moving type corrugated box, at a min. line the walls with pieces of more corrugate to provide solid wall. If you want to pack it your self, go to U-Haul and buy a moving box that it will easily fit into, then add the stiffeners to the inside, and wrap the devil out of that carrier with bubble.

The shipment will be expensive as the cost will be determined by dimensional weight, i.e. the box will be very big.
