				Different latches
Different doors
Outside is the same. Which is which? Early and late 26?

You may have seen this before:

The body parts list issued in March 1927 shows 5680BX for '26-27 cars. The new repros have that number and look like the smaller one and also look like the '22-25 "locks" which are 5680ARX. My guess is they are an improvement made later in the year. They certainly resemble the Model A latches.

Thanks Rich. I missed that. Luck I had a good latch that I needed. Early and late changes can drive you nuts if you let it.

The door with the small holes are from an early '26 roadster. Mine dates from October 1925.

I see both kinds of doors on Ebay. It's about half and half out of a dozen. Your first door photo shows 3 recessed indentations at the top. I haven't seen any like that. Perhaps it is a very late change.
