Triple contact plugs, what application ?

Going through a lot of N.O.S. single and double contact headlight plugs, I ran across some triple contact ones, any idea what they would fit? Bob

Could it be for one of these with the park light socket added?

I do not think so, it takes 3 wires per plug, got me interested in finding out, Bob

Some one mentioned early Cadillac used a 3 contact bulb, but can not find any information, Bob

My 1920 Canadian Touring has these, the parts books show them for a short time.

This is the lights before restoring, also the bulkhead mounted regulator.
