headlight wiring question

Post by cdmazz » Sun Sep 06, 2020 10:56 am

Working on a '19 non starter car. I have the mag headlights figured out. They work fine with the 28v bulbs from Langs. Question I have is the diagrams show a tube running between the headlights for the wires. I cannot find how this tube is attached of if it just floats. Does anyone have a picture of this detail or confirm how it is attached if at all? Thanks.

Thanks for the pics. Clears it up nicely. It appears the tube was part of the old type rad so would be lost with modern core. Anyway, I have soldered one in so the wires will stay out of the fan. Thanks again.

They work fine with the 28v bulbs from Langs.

I don't doubt that they light up, but have you tried to drive by them at night? :D
