About my Dear Ole Dad! Can not see well, does not drive, mind sharp as all get out, a little unstable on his feet, but we still have him! Us of the retirement age need adult supervision still as he states. Loves for me to take him out in his car for a haircut, short errands, etc.
A wealth of knowledge, and a Dad that DEMANDED his son's got involved. Not a day goes by that I do not Thank him! To All of you out there whom have done this to.., HATS OFF!
We just finished up the last of his requested mods to his car except for era correct pin-stripping. That later when I finish two more of our cars. He is a PROUD Father, but I am a more GRATEFUL Son.

What a face! Not your father, the speedster. I really like that car. Im glad to hear you and your dad share the same passion and that he is able to still enjoy the fun of his T's. We should all be lucky enough to have a son that dedicated to making us happy and life a little easier. Is he still making inspectoins in the shop with those young men?

That is a very nice looking speedster. It says 1914 on the plate, however, it has 26-27 wheels. A speedster is built of parts available during the Model T era and for a few years thereafter. Therefore, it is in fact, not any particular year model. Most of the parts look like an earlier T except the wheels. Norm

I really like the car, but I really like the relationship and support between you and your father. It’s pretty obvious you’re father did a great job raising a good son.

Henry, you are a lucky man indeed. I lost my father to a rolled tractor when he was 48 and I was 20. He taught me mechanics, repair, welding, honesty, the value of a handshake and a man's word.

Like the others, I'm glad for you and your Dad having a great relationship. From your Dad's standpoint, this is his time to see and relish the fruits of his labor in raising a highly competent son of good character. Nothing could be more gratifying.

Around here in Taxafornia I sometimes here young guys say, “Man, that is one bad ass car”.
Now I don’t see any rear pictures of the car, but from what I see I can only say,”Man, that is one bad ass car.”

Hank, cherish the moments. My parents are still around and in their 80's. I spent last weekend with them sorting through their storage. I couldn't work them too hard. Sorted through SEVERAL boxes and bins of old letters, cards and photos. Of course more time reminiscing spent than cleaning.
That is where I got the photo of the Model T Touring with my maternal grandparents sitting on the running board prior to them getting married that I posted last week.
Keep your Dad busy. Idle hands are the Devil's tools. HA!
