Routing Distributor wire

I am thinking of re-routing the wire to the distributor to match the path of the wiring loom.
Is this going to cause issues with the length of the wire extended?
What gauge of wire should I use?

The coil is up on the firewall on the drivers side.

I purchased 12 gauge wire to do the run around front and down the side.
The wire on the condenser seems to be very small.
Hope this works.

I would seriously consider relocating the coil to the front of the engine, probably to the rh water outlet bolt. I’ll look for a picture of mine.

My coil is on the passenger side of the firewall. There is a loop of string hanging from the rod under the hood that all the wires run through. Never a problem.

I really like the idea of relocating to the passenger side.
The only issue might be the heat off of the exhaust manifold.

I will take a look at it tomorrow.

Made a bracket to mount the coil on the water outlet bolt.
