Reprinting another version of Stevens catalog, UPDATE
UPDATE : The catalogs are done, They turned out nice. Now for the bad news. The wife says it is vacation time. So, as soon as I get the trailer loaded up, and the "house sitter" shows up, we are leaving this week and will be "off grid and off line" for about three weeks. I will not have time to process anything. I think I have enough for everyone who posted below. I will contact each person when I get back. (approx mid to late October). I will do another run when I get this run done. I will then move to classifieds for that run. Thanks again for showing so much interest.
ADDED NOTE: I have maxed out for the first run. Please wait about posting for a catalog till after I take care of this first run batch. There is more interest than I thought. , ............
Original Post ....... (before updates)
I finally acquired another Stevens catalog. They are very hard to find, and even harder to find one that is for sale. . It is what most folks consider the 1928 version. Stevens was bought out by Walden Worcester in late 1926. This is the catalog they put out after the buy out. It has most all the Stevens tools that were in the earlier catalog I re-printed several months ago,, and several tools that are in no other catalog that I know of. Most of them I have never seen in print before. I will post a few pic of some of the different tools. But I can not show all of them here. This catalog also has the Walden Worcester line of tools. Walden tools were not near the useable quality of the Stevens tools. Walden really stepped up their game when they acquired Stevens. Even though the Walden tools are not really as useful to us today, they are very collectable. This catalog will show what each Walden tool number is used for. There is also a small section of tools for the new Model A that just came out. There are a few pages of tools for Dodge, Chevy, Buick ect. It appears that Walden/Stevens was trying to widen their market in 1928. There is not much of the "other makes" tools. Most of the catalog will apply to our Model Ts. A lot of the Walden tools were considered to be useable on most all cars and trucks, so they are shown as "standard" tools even though they are some of the the same tools shown in the Model T section. This catalog is a very good reference for taking to a swap meet. The catalog is about 4 by 8-1/2 inch and has 96 pages not counting the covers.
Like the last catalog I had to decide how much photo shop time that the printer did to fix imperfections that were in my old, dirty. torn, very brittle original catalog. I had the worst tears photo shopped out and also had the name of the distributor removed from the cover. I did that as a way to not hurt the value of the very few original catalogs that survive. The distributors name was usually stamped on the cover by the distributor using their own stamps anyway. So there are still a few stains and minor imperfections that were not removed to try and keep the costs within reason. We have not decided on weather or not to punch the hole for the string yet. So the final copies may or may not have the hole ...
The page numbers in the 2 page pictures below are of a page in the front of the book and a page in the back of the book. It is just the way they are printed to make a book. I was too lazy to separate the pages for all the pictures I posted here.
The catalog I show in the pictures is just the "proof" copy, I will be able to figure the actual cost after the printer gets the first run done. I think they will be about 20.00 each including shipping.
Ill post them for sale in the classifieds like I did last time when they are done. Due to covid slow downs at the printer, It may be a month or so till I will have them ready. Thanks for all the interest in these little "side projects" I seem to get caught up in ...

Re: Reprinting another version of Stevens catalog, any interest ????
Donnie,
Yes, please put me down for one. Your previous one is a great help to anyone that needs to figure out what that tool does etc.
Also for some of us that sometimes get pulled away from the forum and especially the for sale section -- would you also please post a note on this thread when you put the note on the for sale area? The forum will send us an e-mail saying "check the post" or something like that. And we are much less likely to miss them.
Thank you again for making a very helpful catalog available to our hobby.
Respectfully submitted,
