Does anyone know of a Ben Martin who repairs ignition switches, the number I have for him does not work. I am wanting someone who knows how to restore the plate and the white lettering thereon and I have heard that he is the guy. If someone else is out there that does this kind of work please let me know. Thanks

Daniel

Ben's phone # is 77 ZERO-938-33 SEVEN 6

You'll receive a nice rebuild if you provide a decent core, with key helps too, write a note on what you want too in the box with it, also if you want ammeter too, provide that for also.

Just got this one returned, powder coated plate, rebuilt switch with new center tumbler, added my own ammeter. The letting is left unpainted, but easy to add over the powder coat would think. White enamel paint with a superfine bush, then wipe off excess around letter with simple paint thinner, (not lacquer thinner), as paint thinner won't typically harm the powdercoat.

A fine tip white paint marker from the craft store works great for the letters. Since they are stamped into the metal, you don't even have to be an artist to do a great job.
