Model T garage saling

Post by Bmettli » Mon Sep 21, 2020 9:40 am

Went around to a garage sale down the street and picked up an entire T load of 1920s radios. Got the entire lot for $50. deal was “load up” as much as you can in the car! Cash and carry!

Climbed over the windshield because the car was so full!

This fits in with can you put a radio in a Model T! LOL Selling just one of those should more then pay for the whole load. Great find!

Maybe you will be able to pull in 'The Shadow' with one of those radios.

Will they run on 6v or mag?
Seriously a wonderful find for one who can enjoy them.
Rich
When did I do that?

ONLY THE SHADOW KNOWS!

What a find looks like most of the tubes are included and no visible rodent damage. There are still bargains out there. 100 year old car filled with 100 year old radios. Need to send photos and article to MTFCA & MTFCI be a very interesting story for the Vintage Ford or Model T Times.

I got to reviewing everything I bought today. Turns out every one of the radios have been rebuilt. All the tubes tested and marked, a folded paper schematic in a paper sleeve on the back and all totally rewired. I have one of them playing on AM right now!
