Removal of old silicone used used a gasket

When you separate parts that have silicone used as a gasket there is always a film left.Spray the surface with brake clean and it will loosen up and you can scrape it off. I am not a purist but really helps seal things, especially in an emergency but we all know Model T,s never brake down on the road away from home.
