I recently brought home a '27 Touring car that belongs to a friend, I am to get it running after a long sleep of 28 years. This car carries the NYS Insp. sticker I applied in1991 for his dad the owner, at the time it was a real nice late T. The owner a retired farmer down the road about 8 miles brought it to the garage for annual inspection the first time he parked it out front & I was handed the repair order I greeted him & told him I had to take it in the shop thru a back door. His reply was well if you think you can drive it, OK. So I hopped in from the passenger front door started it up & drove it in parking near our state inspection station. We he followed me into the shop & was surprised that a young buck of 41 knew how to drive one. I explained that I was exposed to T's while in high school. Well back to the topic, this car carries the same frame & engine number, 9 May 1927. I believe the engines were all made in Detroit at that time, this car should have been assembled in Buffalo, as a central NY car most of it's life. "What would the possibility be" that it was assembled after the 15,000,000 T on the 26th. of May given the fact that the engine would travel from Detroit to Buffalo (if that was the case). The 15,000,000 car was assembled as an event that included Edsel & his father. It seems to be fact that branches assembled cars with parts on hand after that date. "What would be the possibility be".
