Just got back these back Erik Larson, 5 brass coils all refreshed and ready for next years touring season. This my second set done by Erik. He used the ECCT.

Erik does great work with fine attention to detail. That includes packing the coils to prevent mis-adjustment during shipping.

I like Erik's packing method too. I carry a spare coil wrapped in cloth and standing upright to protect the adjustment. I think I'll wrap it in corrugate like Erik does for better protection.

Good move Mark, coil points are more vulnerable to mis-adjustment than many realize. Simple, inexpensive insurance to protect your back up coil. Getting coils properly adjusted is very important, keeping them from getting bumped during transit and installation is just as important.
