Re: 1925 Roadster Pickup Questions
I failed to mention, there are two different styles of plates for the fender iron flanges. One has a straight appearance, and the other has a keyhole appearance. The attached photo shows the straight tapered plate. I don't have a photo of the keyhole type. I assume perhaps Ford had two different companies making these beds?

Re: 1925 Roadster Pickup Questions
I was able to come up with a belt that fit from my parts stash. I think it is 28 1/4" long. I would like to make it correct. Here are a couple of pictures.

Re: 1925 Roadster Pickup Questions
I was able to get the correct belt to fit!! I replaced those worthless repro hose clamps with modern worm gear clamps. Now it does not leak. All though the leak was coming from the upper hose. The repro radiator neck is not the right size and it is too short. Not sure what manufacture it is? It is not like the Brassworks radiator that I put in my 26 Coupe, it fit fine. It does however hold almost 3 gallons of coolant. Now, I need to fix the pulley, as It is leaking out the 600W oil that I put in it and making a mess under the hood!

After working on it, today, I put the 25 RPU to work hauling recycles up to the recycle bin.

Re: 1925 Roadster Pickup Questions
There is finally a photo of a 1925 p/u in Tom Rootliebs latest post. It isn't real good, but it's there. It appears to be taken in a park or picnic area. Way to go Tom. Find us some more!

Has anyone seen the photo of the '25 pickup in a park or picnic area that Tom Rootlieb posted in the past few days?

Re: 1925 Roadster Pickup Questions
Larry that last post got me to thinking, in one of Dads albums, there is a photo of a roadster PU taken from the rear in the driveway of my Great Grandparents house. Next time I am out to Mom's I will get the album and scan the photo. Don't recall if it is a 1925, 1926/27 or earlier.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Re: 1925 Roadster Pickup Questions
I've been keeping track of 1925 Pickups, with Ford beds for years. So far, I'm up to 131, and that doesn't count the ones I don't know about!
