Connecticut Antique Engine Restoration

Post by jiminbartow » Sun Nov 08, 2020 5:53 pm

Does anyone know if anyone has bought out or taken over “Connecticut Antique Engine Restoration” of North Franklin, Conn. from George King III? Is George still working and maybe started a new company with a different name? He was (is) a very knowledgeable and talented steam engine and antique gasoline engine restorer that did my T engine in 2010. Jim Patrick

George’s business was bought out. It’s known now as Pat’s Restoration Services, LLC. Patrick Musante is the owner

Thank you William. Do you know if Pat is as good as George was? Any idea what George is doing now? If he is still living, I’m sure he is not just sitting around, as passionate as he was about working on antique steam and gas engines of all types. Jim Patrick

I believe Pat was George’s apprentice. I know nothing further about George other than a friend of mine had an engine done by him about 10 years ago.
