"Economics - 101", The Law of Supply & Demand.... Continuing Amazement!
While reading the thread about the Jeep, Explorer, mini-van', Model T Pick-ups claims, (s'pose we might as well include politicians, too), it reminded me of starting my first day at E.F. Hutton - "Black Monday, 1987". Having observed the mayhem of that day, there's still a universal application today for "Econ - 101".... 'TALK is cheap, because the SUPPLY exceeds the demand!" (Yup!)

Other measurements?
"A grain of salt"
How 'bout "Pound sand!"
"My 'Cabin Fever' has burst the bubble."

Your meaningful favorite is.....?

When all has been said and done, more will have been said than done.

Sorry Marv. I'm completely aloof.
Dave, Ya gotta use your favorite Carlin voice: "How 'bout his Huh? Don’t just teach your children to read… Teach them to question what they read. Teach them to question everything.

Sorry guys.

You can't explain anything to someone that doesn't want to hear it.

Don't explain something so that it can be understood.
Explain in a way so that it cannot be misunderstood.

Don't ask the question if you are not going to like the answer.

Too many experts suffer from grossly insufficient rectal-cerebral separation.

-Hey, Fred-
Believe it or not, we have seen the sun.... On occasion, that is. Those of us in the 'flyover States' have just learned when and how to hunker down! Since that Polar Vortex descended, it seems like an every-other-day occurrence we'll get that extra measure of snow. Suspect there's about 2.5 feet deep settled in and sitting in the back yard, and that's since our 'brown Christmas'. I do see jet-stream weather patterns starting to shift, but would expect at least one more larger storm around St. Paddy's Day. Even if we get snow later, the wild violets like to start popping out the first week of April.

Just for the heck-uv-itt, here's the live camera link for a 'Lambeau Live" link:

http://nfl.packers.com/multimedia/live_cams/

Now, if today or tomorrow was to be a 'game day', you would see fans shoveling out the bleachers, and conveyors moving snow to a line-up of trucks hauling it away. The waiting list for season tickets may get you there in about 30-40 years, or so.

FWIW - Shoveling the path out to my heated shop may take a couple of minutes....
