Does anyone know what the correct spring dimensions are or a good pic of what one looks like for the front door of a 1915 Touring car?

I assume you mean the spring that’s inside the door latch. If you go to Ace hardware they have a good spring selection you can use to fit one in you latch. I repaired 2 of my door latches for my 21 Touring and used one that I fitted using trial and error. They sell the springs in longer lengths so you cut to fit. Once you have the latch apart you use one that’s just wide enough in dia. and cut to fit the the length of the latch movement. Sort of what I did and it worked. I used a fairly stiff spring and it seemed to work the best.

"Early" car's latch springs are flat, round wound unlike a conventional spring.

Found an old forum post on the 2012 forum. Did it by doing a general search on the net. The search term is ‘15 door latch.’ A picture of a disassembled 15 latch and parts. Picture of spring and type and vendor that sells the spring material to make one.
Hope this helps.

This is the new spring I replaced the broken one with in our '14 Touring - I believe the '15 latch to use a similar one.

I discovered the gentlemen who made the door latches for my year car and he kindly told me two different ways to make the spring. Also, if I couldn't make it he would make it for me if I sent him the latch. His description of how to source the right material and how to make it was more than sufficient for me to get the material and make the spring. The spring I made using his directions works great. Thanks for the help.
