Weaver auto ambulance question

I have a Weaver Auto Ambulance that is incomplete. It is missing the part on the top that looks like a dancing crab that is shown in this picture.

Does any one have one to copy? Is that part necessary to use the device? I know there are a few of these around and used to know where there was at once upon a time, but have lost track of where it is by now.
The one I have is in tough shape and I don't have that top part.

Thanks

Herb

I have one, too, Herb. Mine’s in great shape but missing that part, also. I’m planning on having it in the bed of a tow truck project, and will likely make it out of wood. Can’t see anyone actually using the thing. Good luck on the search, that is half the fun.

This is the one I have. Quite a bit different than the pic you posted.

Thanks for the input Tim. I would guess the there were various iterations of the Auto Ambulance because it either developed over time or there were different applications.

Thanks John.
That is a good site.
The one I have is like the one in the first ad on the site:

If you look closely mine might not need the need the attachment , it is not used in the photo. It might need a piece to clamp it to the front axle.
That is good news.
