Pic # 2 is actually a 1909 or 10 repurposed to be a speedster. Can you point out what gives it away?

Early front axle and one piece spindles.
1909-1910 short neck radiator.
1909-1910 E&J 466 Headlights.
1909-1910 Brown 60 Side lights.
1909-1911 crank handle.
If the license plat wasn't there, you would see the winged script on the radiator.
Tod.

Nice catch Tod W! It is a 1916 Califunny license plate (with the bear tab). Looking under the front fender I can also see that it is a 1909/10 style. I am not sure where the front bill puts it in that timeline. The bill sort of came and went and came back again those two years. The rear fenders are about 1912 front fenders turned back. Gives it a good look. Also a louvered hood, circa 1915 style. It also appears that the rear end does not have the early straight axles. Those were somewhat of a nuisance and often got changed early.
A really nice early speedster. Thanks to Dollie's dad!

Push the car...or checking for a free neutral ?
Judging by the front fenders, neutral is not very good !!

Judging by the front license plate on the early speedster, it was taken in California in the late teens.

Well it would help if the folks would get out and off of the Coupe to lighten the load! They look to be in good health to me. Oh well that’s a long long time ago.

Some old pictures we found of Lindbergh in my grand parents home. He was my great grandmothers' second cousin. Neat old brick and T speedster!

As a side note to Lindbergh, my next door neighbor, Mr. Crockford, went to Cass Tech High School in Detroit. HIs teacher was Charles Lindberghs' mother. Mr. Crockford would tell me stories about how Mrs. Lindbergh would read to his class letters from Charles about his preparations for his trans-Atlantic flight. At the time -- about 30 years ago -- he was telling us these stories, Mr. Crockford was ancient then. Man, he had some great stories about early Detroit.

John, Lindbergh's Excellsior would be worth a small fortune...A 1920 Excellsior is worth a bundle without the Lindy provenance !!

My friend, Jude, some what knew Charles when she worked at an airport in Hawii, This is her boss and Charles in his later years. In the mid 1970's I think.
