The 1st and 18th (next to last) pictures are the same car and girl. I think the gentleman on the running board in the 1st photo is in the back seat of the 18th photo. Interesting car and looks like nice people.
The 9th photo, that car is a real mess. Must have been hit by a train. the rail inspection car is sitting on the tracks, and inspection crew standing around the wreck. The road crossing is likely behind the cameraman.
Several very nice race car pictures as well. Most I am sure I have never seen before.
Great stuff! Thank you.

Yes those were beautiful pics again Tom! Thanks!
And those two wrecks were both horrible, altho the second one was probly far worse. The car in the ditch isn't a Ford,
sure is a huge differential. Wonder what make car it is.
Wayne, yes you're right, pics 1 & 18 do have the same gal and guy. They do (or rather did) look like nice folks. She's pretty cute!

Tom,
I absolutely enjoy your photo posts. Thank you so much for taking the time to upload them. I can't help but be curious as to just how many photographs you possess, how long you've been collecting them, and how in the world and by what means have you been able to collect so many??????

Great photographs!
Last photo is a Ford Motor Company sponsored "Stock Chassis Racer", 38 car
that was entered in the Elgin Nationals, Fox River Trophy, August 26, 1910.
The driver is James Hatch and his Mechanician William Gruener, Ford employees,
and was taken during a practice run before the race. Unfortunately, this racer and
the 31 car that Frank Kulick was to drive were disqualified for being under
the minimum weight required of their class on the AAA racing circuit.
Henry Ford was a very unhappy man that day

I'm pretty sure the train wreck car is a circa 1910 Haynes

Apparently, Baldwin & Cargill was in Houston, and the photo of their building is credited to Litterst Commercial Photo (vehicles seen in photos 12 and 16).

Photo #16 - "This car donated by Raymond Pearson..."
Houston automobile dealer that started with Ford in 1922.
Photograph taken on Main Street and Texas Avenue with
the Rice Hotel in the background.
