Always have adult supervision when working on your Model T

I can't be the only one who has "help" when working on my Model T. Post a photo of your "helpers" here:

Shorty would rather ride than help, but Daisy always wanted to be involved.

Like Shorty, Hannah is most interested in Model T activity, like helping pick apples (photo) she picked up the apples that fell while I was picking, and put them in a box. When I'm pulling wrenches she stays close but out of the way, waiting for a test-drive.

My dog wouldn't stay and help.

He got out one night and was a quarter mile from my house. Someone was driving around in the neighborhood and heard me calling for the dog.

He had me call a phone number to verify, and yes, his wife had my dog.

Did I mention the dog is DEAF????

When you get through working on your T it should purr like a kitten. Don't let it lick you! It may even bark like a dog!

The animals pictured here are all FAR more productive than any of mine.
For one thing, they are awake.
That is pretty critical to efficient shop operation.
Mine are only awake for rides. Sometimes after a day or so, I will give them a poke, (Or hit the can-opener for a second) to make sure they haven't gone to their final reward.
You can imagine how indignant they are about that.

Balto is a rescue husky-laborador mix with one blue eye and the other half blue half golden. He is always ready for a ride, loves it, and to lend a paw to help out in the garage. If he could drive the T touring he would. Scouts honor.

My “rider”, “cranking supervisor” generally reflects the degree of interest her momma (my wife) has for Model Ts..😞

Had Tippy helping me nearly five years ago when I was working on the chassis, it was about 8 PM and he decided it was time to go in for supper!

As most farm cats do, he disappeared a year or two later...

"Arkansas Lizzy" HATES to be left behind. As you can see she is patiently waiting to go and whenever she hears a T start up and comes a-running!

My old shop cat winters in my shop office, in the same spot and same position. When it warms up she will venture out into the shop and be a total pest. Between the old shop cat and the three barn cats I have no rodents in anything.
