The Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed is planning to host the 2021 International Speedsters Trials & Reunion June 23-26 in Lincoln, NE. Preliminary details on the 2021 Reunion are below; you can also check the Museum’s website for the most current details. If you would like to register to attend, you can complete the registration online, or download the paper form, at www.museumofamericanspeed.com and click on “Events” then “Speedsters Reunion”.

2021 International Speedsters Trials & Reunion Schedule
Wednesday 06/23
1:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Check-in, Tech Inspections for Hill Climb cars, Museum Touring, Social Time
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Welcome Dinner at the Museum of American Speed

Thursday 06/24
8:00 AM – 3:15 PM – Road Tour of 120-150 miles (route still in planning)
Mid-morning stop for restrooms, refreshments, fuel
Mid-day lunch stop, then return to the Museum
3:30 PM – Reunion Group & Individual Photos at the Museum
Evening at leisure

Friday 06/25
8:00 AM – 3:00 PM – Hill Climb (check our website for revised classes & rules)
Noon lunch at Hill Climb site
4:00 – 6:00 PM – Museum Touring
6:00 PM – Evening at leisure; Local weekly car show just blocks from hotels

Saturday 06/26
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM – Choice of Dyno Runs at The Shop, or “Cars & Coffee” event at the Museum
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM – Lunch on your own
1:30 PM – 6:00 PM – Casual Museum Touring / Tech Seminars
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Reunion Celebration Banquet

I was at the first one, several years ago. VERY cool event, but wow, was it ever HOT, 105F in an open T. If you haven't been to one, don't miss it. The museum alone is worth the trip.

Difficult to make out, but a six cylinder “speedster” in John’s photo above, with a guy in a blue shirt.

Hope to see many of you there in 2021.

A word to the wise. Do not, under any circumstances, go to a bar in Lincoln with Jerry from Kansas. Don’t ask how I know....

Thanks for the memory John Warren. The speedster reunion is a special event, and I hope it comes off this year. The organizers have been kind enough to let a Model K run an exhibition hill climb in the past.

If I did not have other plans...., RATS!!!!!

John W., looking forward to seeing everyone. We have two early Ford friends driving their Model A's (ok, 29 and 30 A roadsters) from Michigan and Ohio to attend. Looks like I'll do the tour with that old 07 Ford, then try the hill climb with the Special.

Today at the shop, cutting in the correct exhaust pipes, and finishing the fake "dashtank," as it's referred to on the factory drawings, the piece behind the firewall to hide the back of the motor:
