Original Milwaukee Sales Invoice For Ford Touring, motor #2156596

My sister found a copy of this invoice on a Facebook page about Milwaukee:
The car was ordered on Aug. 2, 1917, appears to have been built about August 13, and delivered Sept. 8.
There is a Heiser Ford in the Milwaukee area today, I assume a successor company?
At any rate, a fun read.

Gas is 23.6ยข a gallon. I would guess it's that high because of the war.

Sales order only calls out Model---Touring Car, the use of T was not used because that is what they all were. Then the Motor Number 2156596 was specific but nowhere is there any indication what year the car was to be. George

The bottom part of the T is there, but faint.
The engine assembly date is Wednesday, August 29, 1917. The car was shipped ten days later. It was made almost a month after Mister Schlitt ordered it. We would call it a 1918 model.
