Interesting that race car #1, (number on the radiator), still has its crank. Wonder if there's some sort of chain drive back down to the old crank hole. Hardly seems feasible.
Also, interesting that the spindles, or at least the spindle arms, are swapped around, with the tie rod out front. Could be some freaky steering if not done right!

The first two pics of the same speedster are really cool. He must have had some money invested in it going by the engine extras he had on it. Isn’t that an added on oil sump? Pretty nice wheels on it too. Any history on the car? Must have been fast on the track given the cup on the hood.
