I hope Mr. McKrill is demonstrating that the rear seat problems of the 1913 touring car have been solved !! Magic Valley area, Idaho. I'll see if I can find more on McKrill, Ford agent.

Maybe not Rich! The rear door popped open!! I remember one day hauling FOUR people in the backseat of my '13, and yep,
sure's as anything...round the corner...there opened the door!!

Too bad the pic doesn't really show whether it's
got that bracket at the door sill. My '13 has the bigger sill, so supposedly didn't need it. I proved 'em wrong!!

It appears to be a "peaceful" demonstration at least...

Rich, Mackrill & Son were an early Rupert, Idaho blacksmith shop. They made Model T busses for the Rupert School district back in the day. Growing up in Rupert, I first learned of Mackrill and Son from an article in a local publication on Minidoka County history published in the mid ’60’s. By that time Mackrill & Son were long gone.
I have never seen the photo you posted before. In the background on the right hand side one can see of what appears to be the Snake River and the beginning outline of the slope of Mt. Harrison in neighboring Cassia County.

I have the steel plate sill reinforcements on my 13 touring. I got lucky and found one at a local swap meet and then made a mirror image for the other side. These pieces add a LOT of strength!!
