Just found out my T friend Lloyd Hansen, who has driven Ts all his life and has some great projects around his place (besides helping me out bunches with my T) is going to have a 4-way bypass and carotid artery bypass tomorrow morning (Friday). Had no idea he was this blocked--blocked enough the hospital wouldn't let him go home and scheduled him right away. He's been a great help to many T folks around this area. His wife Maxine will have her hands full keeping him from overdoing during the recovery process!

Hey there David D! Well, you know how I feel about this stuff. How our model T friends are doing does not belong in OT.

To help keep this model T related, is he getting that runabout fixed up yet?

I just went through an unexpected triple bypass myself. The doctor didn't understand what I meant when I asked how long it would be before I could crank my car. The answer was 8 weeks.

Prayers to Lloyd and family, and glad you got ur shot Bud. Hope there's no reaction. Most have been pretty good so far. Other than a little pain at the injection point. My second Pnuemonia shot left my arm so fricking sore for 4 days I ended up sleeping in my recliner! Never had that kind of reaction before. Pharmacist dude said "it'll feel like someone sucker punched you for a day"....ha! More like pummeled by a world class fighter!!

Just talked to Maxine, Lloyd's wife, he's doing fine, coming out of the 'fog'--it went well, was a 5 way bypass & carotid arteries. I hope to talk to him tomorrow night.

That's the wonderful news we've all been waiting to hear. Please give Lloyd best wishes from all of us.

Glad to hear it!

Lloyd came home today! He's doing very well in the healing stuff, in fact staff said that he "walks too fast." Doing better than some younger folks they've had. So now to keep him from over-doing!
