WTB - Speedster Gas Tank
I have a want ad for a speedster gas tank on the classifieds that hasn’t gotten any responses. I have a gas tank that has been sealed with sealant and now a baffle has come loose and is scraping off the sealant which clogs the gas line. It also has a fill neck that does not seal well to the cap. My question for the forum is: Can a gas tank be opened to reattach the baffle, change the fill neck and fix the original leaks? If so, what kind of shop can do this type of work? Would I have to find a local shop or can a used gas tank be made safe for shipping? Thanks for any information. Jerry

Jerry,
There are so many different ways to do the repairs. Find someone with a good reputation.
All the Best,
