This Was Then: Some assembly required

Hi Gentlemen, I found this article and I thought it is very interesting... It is about : The Ford Motor Company is often lauded for the invention of the modern assembly line (a claim that begins with a lot of caveats). But the truth was, unless you lived near Detroit, that Model T you ordered in 1919 from, say, Martha’s Vineyard, would come disassembled and packed tightly inside a railroad car when it arrived in Woods Hole.

Picures are delightful as well. I would like to found a T,s packed tightly inside of wood box.

Now that would be a find Mario, to locate one still in the box.

I don't think I would want to find a still boxed brand new model T and be able to get it for myself. I would be so conflicted by it. Oh I would so much want to put it together and have a brand new zero miles model T!!!!!!! However, I would so much want to keep it as the historic treasure it truly is, still in the box, untouched, undriven.

But wouldn't it be wonderful!
